The route begins in the central highlands before moving south into the Kalahari and the dramatic landscapes of the Fish River Canyon. From there, scenic flights link remote regions such as Lüderitz and Sossusvlei, allowing time to experience the Namib Desert without backtracking. The journey continues along the Atlantic coast and through Damaraland before entering Etosha National Park, Namibia’s premier wildlife area.
The final leg contrasts sharply with the west of the country, following the Okavango and Kwando river systems through Bwabwata National Park and the Caprivi region. Windhoek
On arrival at Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport, you are met and transferred into the city. The short drive provides an easy introduction to Namibia, passing through rolling hills and the outskirts of the capital.
The remainder of the day is free to relax after your international flight or enjoy a quiet evening in the city.

Day 2
Kalahari
Today you travel south into the Kalahari, a vast semi-arid region defined by red dunes, camelthorn trees and wide, open skies. The scenery gradually becomes more remote, with long stretches of road and changing light throughout the day.
In the afternoon, you enjoy a guided walk, offering insight into the smaller details of the landscape, followed by a sundowner drive that takes advantage of the soft evening light and expansive views.

Day 3 & 4
Fish River Canyon
The journey continues south towards the Fish River Canyon, one of Africa’s largest geological features. The landscape becomes increasingly dramatic, with rocky plateaus, deep valleys and distant mountain ranges.
Fish River Lodge is positioned along the canyon rim, allowing uninterrupted views across the canyon system. These two days are spent appreciating the scale and isolation of the area, with time to explore viewpoints and enjoy the changing colours of the canyon throughout the day.

Day 5 & 6
Luderitz & Sossusvlei
A scenic flight connects the remote south with Namibia’s Atlantic coast. Lüderitz offers a striking contrast to the desert interior, with its coastal setting, historic architecture and windswept atmosphere.
A guided visit to Kolmanskop provides insight into Namibia’s diamond-mining history before the journey continues inland towards the Namib Desert.
Arriving in the Sossusvlei region, you settle into your lodge for two nights, allowing time to experience the dunes without rushing. Activities include scenic sunrise and sunset drives in the Sossusvlei area, as well as a visit to Sesriem Canyon, carved by the Tsauchab River over millions of years.

Day 7 & 8
Swakopmund
From the desert, the journey continues west to Swakopmund, where the cool Atlantic air provides welcome contrast after the heat of the Namib.
During your stay, you enjoy a full-day marine and desert experience combining a dolphin cruise along the coast with a guided 4×4 excursion to Sandwich Harbour. This area, where towering dunes meet the ocean, is one of Namibia’s most visually striking coastal environments.
Time is also available to explore Swakopmund at your own pace, with its seaside promenade, cafés and relaxed atmosphere.

Day 9 & 10
Twyfelfontein
Heading north, the landscape becomes increasingly rugged as you enter the Damaraland region, known for its arid plains, volcanic formations and desert-adapted wildlife.
Twyfelfontein is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to one of the largest concentrations of rock engravings in Africa. Time here is spent exploring the area’s cultural and geological features, with opportunities to observe how wildlife survives in this harsh environment.

Vingerklip
A shorter drive brings you to the Vingerklip area, named after its distinctive rock formations. The landscape is sculpted by erosion, creating dramatic columns and cliffs that catch the light throughout the day.

Etosha (south)
Travel north towards Etosha National Park, Namibia’s premier wildlife destination. Entering from the southern side, the focus is on game viewing around waterholes and open plains.
An Etosha game drive introduces the park’s diverse wildlife, which may include elephant, giraffe, plains game and predators, depending on conditions.

Kavango

Bwabwata National Park
Bwabwata National Park is a unique conservation area where wildlife, river systems and local communities coexist. The park stretches along the Okavango and Kwando Rivers, creating varied habitats and excellent birdlife.
