Day 1

Windhoek

On arrival in Windhoek, once you have sorted out your 4×4 rental, you head to your accommodation. After settling in, you have the rest of the day to relax or explore the vibrant city of Windhoek at your leisure. You might visit local attractions, dine at a nearby restaurant, or embark on a short day trip to get a feel for the area. This first day provides a perfect introduction to your Namibian adventure.

Day 2 & 3

Namib Naukluft Park

After a hearty breakfast, you drive to Namib Naukluft Park for the next two nights. Your stay includes a guided excursion to the breathtaking Sossusvlei dunes, one of Namibia’s most iconic landscapes. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the striking desert scenery, marvel at the towering red dunes, and visit Deadvlei, a white clay pan with ancient, dead camel thorn trees. Evenings can be spent stargazing in the clear desert skies or relaxing at your lodge.

Day 4 & 5

Swakopmund

Next, you travel to the coastal town of Swakopmund for a two-night stay. During your time here, you’ll embark on a Catamaran Dolphin & Seal Cruise, where you can enjoy refreshments and snacks while spotting dolphins and seals in their natural habitat. The cruise also includes return transfers from your guesthouse. Explore Swakopmund’s charming German colonial architecture in your free time, visit local markets, or enjoy adventure activities like sandboarding and quad biking in the nearby dunes.

Day 6 & 7

Twyfelfontein

Your journey continues to Twyfelfontein, where you’ll stay for two nights. This area is famous for its ancient rock engravings and stunning desert landscapes. Your stay includes two scheduled activities, including visits to the nearby rock art sites, guided nature walks, or excursions to see the unique geological formations. Enjoy the serene desert environment and the chance to see desert-adapted wildlife.

Day 8

Etosha South

Heading north, you reach Etosha National Park’s southern region, where you’ll spend the night. This area is renowned for its abundant wildlife, and you can spend your time here on game drives, seeking out elephants, lions, giraffes, and various antelope species. The nearby waterholes provide excellent wildlife viewing and photography opportunities, especially in the early morning and late afternoon.

Day 9

Etosha East

Today, you move to the eastern part of Etosha National Park for another night of wildlife adventures. The eastern region is known for its diverse habitats and high concentrations of game. Enjoy more game drives and perhaps visit the famous Fischer’s Pan, a seasonal wetland that attracts many birds and animals. Your lodge provides a comfortable base for your explorations.

Day 10

Central Namibia

On your final full day, you begin your return to Windhoek and spend the night at Africat – the home of big cats in Namibia. Your stay here offers an excellent opportunity to view cheetah and leopard and learn about the fantastic work carried out by the Africat Foundation in conserving these large predators.

Day 11

End of services

After breakfast, it’s time to head back to the airport for your departure. Reflect on the incredible experiences and memories made during your Namibian adventure. Safe travels!
