Your 8-day Fly-In Safari begins at Maun Airport, the gateway to Botswana’s breathtaking wilderness. A scenic flight takes you into the heart of the Okavango Delta, where you’ll stay at Oddballs Tented Camp and explore the area by mokoro and on guided walking safaris. Continuing your adventure, you’ll fly to Khwai, enjoying game drives and mokoro excursions at MmaTsebe Tented Camp. Next, transfer to The Old House along the Chobe River for a sunset boat cruise. Finally, relax at Bayete Guest House in Victoria Falls, immersing yourself in the vibrant local culture before concluding your unforgettable journey.

Our guides are locals – this is a man of the swamp, born and raised in the area, and you will spend your days in his mokoro (pl. mekoro), gliding through the floodplains and channels

Mokoro Camping Trail
For guests staying a minimum of four nights, Oddballs’ Camp also offers privately guided overnight camping trails by mokoro, for a minimum of two nights – although they recommend three or more to get the best out of this unique safari. The trails are amongst the most sought-after wilderness experiences in the world today, offering an opportunity to experience life in serenity and on its own terms in a way not easily achieved in the modern world.

Khwai
During your stay at MmaTsebe Tented Camp, immerse yourself in the stunning wilderness of Khwai. Enjoy daily game drives that explore both Khwai and Moremi National Park, led by our expert guides in open Land Cruisers, ensuring an intimate wildlife experience with a maximum of six guests per vehicle. The region is renowned for its iconic wildlife sightings, making each drive an adventure to remember.
In the late afternoon, embark on a mokoro excursion, a highlight of many guests’ safaris. Glide through the serene waters of the Mbudi River, taking in the Delta’s unique flora and diverse birdlife, as well as the chance to spot wildlife such as antelope and elephants. This intimate experience, guided by an experienced poler, is a must for anyone visiting the Okavango Delta.

The area around MmaTsebe is known worldwide for iconic wildlife sightings and we have a fleet of exceptional guides leading game drives daily. Included in the stay are morning and afternoon game drives. Our game vehicles are open Land Cruisers with a maximum of 6 guests per vehicle.

A late afternoon activity that is offered year-round from MmaTsebe, mokoro excursions are often a highlight of a guests' experience. The experience offers intimate views of the Mbudi river and the Delta's iconic flora, birdlife and often wildlife from antelope to resident elephant. Lead by an experienced poler, this is a must when on safari in the Okavango Delta.

A full-day out from MmaTsebe, this boat experience takes guests on an adventure through the Moremi Game Reserve and onto a double-decker pontoon boat prime for photographers and bird lovers – guests explore the winding waterways of the delta with lunch on board, before game driving back to camp into the sunset. The experience offers guests the opportunity to be further immersed in the wonders of the delta, with the focus on the boat trip a search for the elusive and rare Sitatunga antelope.

Chobe River Front
Your adventure at the Chobe River Front begins with exhilarating game drives included in your stay at the The Old House. Led by our exceptional guides, these drives traverse the renowned Khwai and Moremi National Parks, offering you the chance to witness iconic wildlife in their natural habitat. With a maximum of six guests per open Land Cruiser, you can enjoy a personalised experience during both morning and afternoon excursions.
Additionally, embark on the Sitatunga’s Edge – Xakanaxa Boat Excursion, a full-day adventure that takes you through the stunning waterways of the Moremi Game Reserve. On a double-decker pontoon boat, you’ll have the opportunity to capture breathtaking photographs and observe diverse birdlife while enjoying lunch on board.
